ESEN METAL - MAGNESIUM ANODES

Magnesium Anode's of which electrode potential is the highest between galvanic anodes are used againist corrosion in Cathodic Protection of metal constructions that are in conditions like resistivity under 3000 Ohm.cm (5000 Ohm.cm in High Potential Magnesium Anode 's), soil, sea water and fresh water.

Generally the usage field is as follows:

• Natural Gas Pipe Lines
• Water Pipe Lines for drinking
• Petroleum Pipe Lines
• Liquid Fuel, Lpg and WaterTanks
• Water Storage Tanks for drinking
• Unrefined Petroleum Storage Tanks, ( Dual Anodes )
• Water Heaters and Converters

Magnesium Anode's which are going to be used under ground, are burried with special anode bearing filling mixture. Filling types are given below

The usage of Magnesium Anode 's in anode bearing has these advantages:

• Anode is dissolved uniformly in anode bearing. By this way the usability percentage of the anode increases.
• Anode bearing keeps the anode surrounding moist. By this way anode resistance is reduced and current output is increased.
• By the help of anode bearing it is available to use Magnesium Anodes in grounds with 5000 Ohm.cm of resistivity
