ESEN METAL - STANDART POTENTIAL MAGNESIUM ANODES

Electrode potential of Standart Potential Magnesium Anodes are less than the High Potential Magnesium Anodes. That's why they are preferred generally in Sacrificial Anodes with Cathodic Protection systems where ground resistivity is under 3000 Ohm.cm.

Anodes are casted from high purity magnesium ingots with care. They are analysed chemically and electrochemically according to the ASTMG.

At Esen Metal, we attach a copper lead wire (size, length and insulation type as specified) to the magnesium anode and seal the connection interface. If required, the anode will be packaged in a cloth bag with a prepared backfill mixture of 75% gypsum, 20% bentonite and 5% sodium sulfate. The backfill mixture works to maintain moisture around the anode and lowers the anode to earth resistance. The packaged anodes are shipped on pallets in plastic bags that must be removed prior to installation.
